There are no other yachts here now, and beyond wildlife the little town of Puerto Villamil on Isabela has limited offerings. But there are surfers and an occasional backpacker who come out in the evenings at Claudia’s splendid Casa Rosada. Her caipairinhas are to die for. After an obligatory visit to the flamingo lagoon we stopped at Claudia’s to tipple and listen to the wonderful music of Iguanamen – mainly blues, recorded here live. Mate, you wouldn’t be dead for quids.
